Leslie Schultz-Kin is Of Counsel at Akerman LLP where she practices in the Consumer Financial Services Practice Group. She holds the highest AV Preeminent® peer review rating for professional excellence and was listed in Florida Trend’s Legal Elite in 2016 and 2017 for commercial litigation.
Leslie attended Ohio University where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science in 1992. She also attended the University of South Florida, earning a Master of Public Administration with honors in 1997, while working full-time for the Florida Legislature as a Legislative Aide to a State Representative. She earned her law degree cum laude from Stetson University College of Law in 1999.
Leslie has served as a Guardian ad Litem, as well as a pro bono attorney for the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit’s Guardian ad Litem Program in Hillsborough County. She resides in Tampa with her husband and two sons.
