The General Federation of Junior Women’s Club (GFWC) has selected the Florida Guardian ad Litem Program and Foundation as their Director’s Project for 2016-2018. GFWC is calling for their members to become GAL volunteers, to donate to the GAL Foundation, to hold fundraisers and provide in-kind donations for GAL volunteers and children in their districts. They are also asking members to support legislation that benefits foster children. At state meetings GFWC will have a donation drive and hands-on projects to help children that are part of the program across the state. GFWC visited the GAL Foundation office this morning to donate gift cards and donations in excess of $500.00. Thank you District 8 and 12!
