Participate in the Princess Place Preserve Run to Support the Florida Guardian ad Litem Foundation

2015-casa-0818The Florida Guardian ad Litem Foundation supports the work of over 10,000 GAL volunteers, staff and child welfare professionals in giving a voice in court to Florida’s abused, neglected and abandoned children.  The GAL Foundation provides training for GAL volunteers and helps to support the needs of foster children that are not provided by the state.  From prom dresses to ensuring foster children receive tutoring and are able to participate in extracurricular activities, the Florida GAL Foundation plays an integral part in the lives of Florida’s most vulnerable children.

If you would like to help support the GAL Foundation while having a great time running at the Princess Place Preserve in Flagler County, visit the event Facebook page or just come to the Princess Place Preserve in Flagler County on November 20th from 10:30 AM-4:30 PM.

The race is open to anyone.  Don’t want to run?  Come to the Park to enjoy the day, kayak or bike. Please consider a donation to benefit the Florida GAL Foundation.  You can also donate directly to the GAL Foundation on the GAL Foundation’s donation page  before the race, or mail to:

Florida Guardian ad Litem Foundation
P.O. Box 10688

There is no entry fee, swag, prizes nor signup page. Entry into the Preserve is FREE. Participants (and virtual participants) will start their GPS device of choice and when they are finished, please consider $1/mile (or more) as a donation to the GAL Foundation.
